Introduction
------------

This directory contains several scientific papers. Each paper may exist in 
various formats:

        - PostScript: Adobe's PostScript format
	       PostScript files have a ".ps.Z" extension
	       They must be uncompressed first; then they can be printed, or 
	       displayed using any PostScript viewer

	- PDF: Adobe's Portable Document Format
	       PDF files have a ".pdf" extension
	       They can be viewed using ant PDF viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat

These papers are best viewed from http://cadp.inria.fr/publications

The file `biblio.bib' contains BibTeX-like references of these papers.
It must be used together with the file `cortex.bst', i.e., the TeX file
should contain the following lines:
	\bibliographystyle{cortex}
	\bibliography{biblio,other_biblios}

The complete bibliographic references can be found in the `biblio.bib' file.

Remarks
-------

- Because some of these technical papers were published long time ago, the
  author affiliations, addresses, phone/fax numbers, and e-mail addresses
  mentioned in these papers may have changed.

- The ".ps.Z" files must be uncompressed first; then they can be printed, or
  displayed using any PostScript viewer.

- Some PostScript files have been prepared for A4-size paper. If you prefer
  letter-size paper, you may modify the PostScript files by inserting the
  following just in front of the first PostScript commands (/TeXDict ...). 
  The output will be downscaled by factor 0.94 and moved to origin (19,49); 
  19 and 49 are in 72th inch:
